Vani Bhojan became a household name after appearing as a heroine in the television serial 'Deivamagal' which brought her the chance to debut as heroine in the Telugu movie 'Meeku Maathrame Cheptha' in 2019. This year her Tamil debut movie 'Oh My Kadavule' released costarring Vijay Sethupathi, Ashok Selvan and Ritika Singh that has tasted box office success.

One Boopalan a real estate businessman has lodged a complaint with the police that he has been using the same cell phone number for the past twenty years and suddenly hundreds of calls started coming to him asking for Vani Bhojan. Some of the callers also were abusive and Boopalan could not tolerate it anymore and started investigating. He then found that in 'Oh My Kadavule' Vani Bhojan's character Meera would give her cellphone number to Ashok Selvan which happened to be that of Booplan's in real life and the havoc began for him.

Boopalan has requested the cops to take action against the 'Oh My Kadavule' team for misusing his number and it remains to be seen how his problem is addressed.
