She was found dead hanging in her room in Virugambakkam, Chennai. In August, tragedy struck the Nandamuri family when Kanthamaneni Uma Maheshwari, the youngest daughter of Late NT Rama Rao, died by suicide. In May, young Bengali actress Pallavi Dey was found hanging from her bedroom ceiling fan at her flat in Garfa, Kolkata. The actress was known for a few popular TV soaps.

One more TV serial actor has died by suicide. She is Vaishali Thakkar, who allegedly killed herself at her residence in Madhya Pradesh's Indore on Sunday. She was 29.

As per the police, her suicide note alleged that her neighbour had been harassing her. He is a businessman, reports say.

The actress was about to get married in a few days. The police are investigating the case from all angles.
