Actor Mansoor Ali Khan who was out of the limelight for many years made a comeback in a small but important character in Lokesh Kanagaraj's 'Leo' starring Thalapathy Vijay and Trisha in the lead. In a recent interview the 61 year old actor-politician lamented that he could not share screen space with Trisha.
Mansoor recalled that during his days as a villain he got the chance to physically handle actresses such as Khusbhu and Roja in bed during rape scenes. However he expressed his disappointment over the 'Leo' team safely flying Trisha by helicopter to the shooting spot and back like Lord Hanuman carrying the Sanjeevini Mountain. The distasteful remarks of Mansoor have attracted severe backlash from fans and celebrities. Megastar Chiranjeevi who has shared screen space with Trisha in 'Stalin' and 'Acharya' has come out in support. Trisha has duly thanked him on the same platform.
Chiru wrote on X "My attention was drawn to some reprehensible comments made by actor Mansoor Ali Khan about Trisha. The comments are distasteful and disgusting not just for an Artiste but for any woman or girl. These comments must be condemned in the strongest words. They reek of perversion. I stand with Trisha and every woman who has to be subject to such horrid comments."
Trisha is currently acting in Kamal Haasan's 'Thug Life' directed by Mani Ratnam, Ajith's 'Vidaamuyarchi' directed by Magizh Thirumeni' and Mohan Lal's 'Ram' directed by Jithu Joseph.
