Actress Tammannaah took to social media to reveal that she had underwent the Coronavirus swab test along with family and staff, and while she had tested negative, her parents have unfortunately tested positive for coronavirus.

Stating that her parents were showing mild symptoms over the weekend, Tamannaah posted a note which read “My parents were showing mild COVID 19 symptoms over the weekend and as a precautionary measure everyone at home underwent tests immediately. The results have just come in, and unfortunately my parents have tested positive. The necessary authorities have been updated of their situation and we are complying with the precautionary guidelines. The rest of the family members, including myself and the staff have tested negative. By the Grace of God they are coping well and all your prayers and blessings will put them on the road to recovery.”

Tamannaah had been staying at her Mumbai residence ever since the nationwide lockdown was announced in March after the Coronavirus outbreak in the country. The actress was supposed to join the shooting of her next Telugu movie Gurthundaa Seethakalam.
