Tamannaah one of the leading heroines in South cinema tested positive for coronavirus in Hyderabad where she was shooting for web series. She was immediately rushed to a hospital and was treated for a couple of days.

Tamannaah then was discharged and self-isolated in Hyderabad and updated to fans "It has been a strenuous week but I feel relatively well. I am optimistic that i will recover fully from this health peril which is distressing so many people around the world. For the present, I will be self-isolating as advised. A big virtual hug to everyone for their love, concern, and positivity. Stay safe, stay healthy, stay well!".

Tamannaah is now fully recovered and on Thursday flew to Mumbai to her home and posted a homecoming video that goes on for three minutes. In the video Tamannaah is seen arriving in her car to her residence greeted by her parents who lovingly hug her. Inside the house, her pet dog rushes to her and showers love after missing her for so long.

Tammannaah has updated that she has now fully recovered from COVID 19 but on the advice of doctors she is concentrating on building immunity at her home. She has stated that after some more rest she will be back to work to entertain fans.
