Tamannaah Bhatia has been making waves in the Indian film industry especially in the past year. She danced for the biggest chartbuster song 'Kaavalaa' from Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Jailer' which was one of the main reasons for the film's tremendous box office returns. She then sizzled in 'Lust Stories 2' and also fell in love with the leading man of the series Vijay Varma.

In this situation a famous hero has said that many actresses refused a role in his film saying that they will not get much screen space due to Tamannaah's presence. The hero in question is none other than Mollywood superstar Dileep.

Tamannaah has acted for the first time in a Malayalam film named 'Bandra' starring Dileep in the lead role which has released today in theaters. During the promotions Dileep shared that director Arun Gobi considered many actresses and finally zeroed in on Tamannaah who he felt would be the most suitable for the character.

Apart from Tamannaah, there was another main female character in 'Bandra' and the team approached several actresses who turned it down feeling that their roles will not be weighty considering that Tamannaah is the lead. However Mamta Mohandas agreed to do the role and Dileep appreciated her for it. The film is getting positive reviews among fans.
