Tamannaah Bhatia one of the leading actresses in South India and Bollywood has hit another career high after the tremendous success of her song 'Kaavaalaa' tuned by Anirudh from Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Jailer'. Meanwhile she was in the news after one of her photographs flaunting what looked like a large diamond ring went viral. It was said that the ring cost around rupees two crores and was gifted to the 33 year old actress by Telugu superstar Ramcharan Teja's wife Upasana Konidela.

Tamannaah has clarified about the news on her Instagram stories "Hate to break it to you but we were doing a photo shoot with a bottle opener and not an actual diamond #GirlsLikeToClickPics."

Netizens were shocked that a bottle opener that could only be a few hundred rupees was passed off as a two crore diamond ring. It is noteworthy that Tamannaah herself is the daughter of a diamond merchant from Maharashtra.

On the professional front Tamannaah has two releases on the same day on August 10th namely Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Jailer' directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and Megastar Chiranjeevi's 'Bholaa Shankar' costarring Keerthy Suresh. Her performance in the recent web series 'Lust Stories 2' opposite real life boyfriend Vijay Varma was also well received by fans.
