To outsiders, the glamour and rich lifestyle of film stars may seem a blessed life but there is another dark side to all that which is something no common man or woman would like to face. Parents of 23 year old actress Subarna Jash were shocked to find her hanging from the ceiling fan of her bedroom on February 9th night. They rushed her to a nearby hospital where the doctors declared her brought dead and sent the body to postmortem and the formalities were completed on Monday and last rites held.

Subarna Jash originally from Burdwan had come to Kolkata for higher studies but since her heart was in making a career as an actress she tried her hand at it and got a few chances including in the recent 'Mayurpankhi'. She had acted in a few films and serials as a supporting actress but was depressed that she did not get any big platform to showcase her talents. Subarna's parents have shared that she had gone into deep depression the past few days after returning to her hometown and took the extreme step when they least expected it.
