Sri Priyanka is one of the promising young actress among the current generation who has made her mark in films such as 'Kangaroo' , 'Sketch' and the upcoming 'Miga Miga Avasaram' in which she is said to have delivered an award winning performance. She is currently starring as heroine in a new movie titled 'Kanganam' which is a love story directed by Aanaivari Sreedhar with newbie Kaushik playing the male lead.

A scene at an outdoor location reportedly required Sri Priyanka to ride a two wheeler at high speed and the cameraman was capturing the action from a car that was driving in front. The camera car suddenly stopped without warning and a confused Sri Priyanka lost her control and careeened wildly before crashing into the car. Luckily the two wheeler had lost its speed and the crew members also rushed to the spot to prevent the actress from falling off and hurting herself on the ground. It is said that Sri Priyanka devoloped high fever after the incident and remained shaken for a long time after that.
