The 'Bigg Boss' is one of the most viewed reality shows in India and though it is into its fourteenth season in Hindi its only been three years since it has caught up the imagination of the South Indians. Many celebrities have gained recognition through the show and one such celebrity is actress Sreemukhi who came second in 'Bigg Boss 3' Telugu.

An FIR has been filed against Sreemukhi for allegedly speaking against Brahmins on a television show aired in 2018. Earlier the actress had even stated that she did not even remember what it was after so long and that it was a comedy show and there was no intention on her part to hurt anyone's sentiments. She even offered to apologize but still a person has gone ahead and filed the case.

Sreemukhi who switched from television to the big screen with the Allu Arjun starter "Julayi' and in 2015 debuted as the heroine in 'Ettuthikkum Madha Yaanai' starring Sathya as the hero.
