Famous Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor and her husband Anand Ahuja own a residence in the Amrita Shergill Marg area of Delhi. Jewelery and cash worth Rs 2.4 crore were looted from that house on February 11. Police registered a case and was investigating.
Now Aparna Ruth Wilson who worked as a nurse taking care of Sonam Kapoor's mother in law has been arrested along with her husband Naresh Kumar Sagar who worked as an accountant in a private firm. The couple both 31 years old are residents of the Sarita Vihar where the cops raided but are yet to recover the stolen items and cash.
Amrutha Guguloth, Deputy Commissioner of Police (New Delhi) has stated “Wilson has undertaken home care duties on several occasions on the patient’s requirement. This kept her close to the patient whose jewellery were stolen by the accused and later given to her husband. Both have been formally arrested and police remand is being sought. Further investigation is underway."
