The 'Bigg Boss' reality show is one of the most popular in Indian television history garnering very high TRP ratings. Contestants who participate in the shows gain popularity more often than not. One of the contestants of 'Bigg Boss 14' has passed away suddenly and the news has shocked the entertainment industry.
Sonali Phogat who debuted as TV anchor in 2006 joined the BJP two years later and campaigned for the party in all the subsequent elections. She made her acting debut pretty late in 2016 starring in the TV show 'Amma: Ek Maa Jo Laakhon Ke Liye Bani Amma' and later in the web series, 'The Story Of Badmashgarh'.
The actress then gained much higher fame by entering 'Bigg Boss 14' hosted by Salman Khan on a wild card ticket on the 79th day and stayed in the house till the 113th day when she was evicted. It is said that she along with her staff members visited Goa where she posted a video on Instagram looking in good health dancing to an old Hindi song.
According to reports Sonali then complained of uneasiness and was rushed to a nearby hospital on Monday night where she passed away having suffered a cardiac arrest. The 42 year old is survived by her daughter Yashodhara Phogat while her husband, Sanjay Phogat, died also at the age of 42 in 2016. RIP!
We truly never know what life has destined for us. My deepest sympathy to her family and daughter. RIP??#SonaliPhogat https://t.co/1JRaIqEI3Z
