On the occasion of Cancer Survivor day, actress Sonali Bendre shared a post on her Instagram handle that has grabbed the attention of many. In the lengthy post, the actress opened up about her battle with cancer. Sonali, who was diagnosed with metastatic cancer in July 2018, wrote, "How time flies... today when I look back, I see strength, I see weakness but most importantly I see the will to not let the C word define how my life will be after it…You create the life you choose. The journey is what you make of it... so remember to take #OneDayAtATime and to #SwitchOnTheSunshine ????☀️♥️#CancerSurvivorsDay."

Sonali also shared a then and now collage, comprising a photo of her recent self and one from when she was undergoing chemotherapy. On one side of the picture, we could see the actress getting treated for cancer and the other image was post her treatment looking all healthy and hearty.

Sonali Bendre married Goldie Behl in 2002. The couple has a 15-year-old son named Ranveer Behl.
