90s actress Sivaranjani's daughter to debut as heroine

In the eighties and nineties when Rajini and Kamal were ruling the roost several young actresses made their mark. One of them is Sivaranjani who debuted in Navarasa Nayagan Karthik's 'Mr. Karthik' produced by Sarath Kumar. She later went on to star in several hit films including Kamal Haasan's 'Kalaignian', Prabhu's 'Chinna Maapla'. Vijayakanth's 'Raja Nadai' and Karthik's 'Kaathirukka Neramillai'.
In 1994, Sivaranjani starred in the Telugu movie 'Aame' which went on to win her the Nandi Award for Best Actress and there was no turning back for her after that. She changed her name to Ooha and starred in many Tollywood films.
Sivaranjani and the leading Telugu hero of the time Srikanth fell in love and got married in 1997. The couple have three children Roshan, Medha and Rohan. Roshan made his debut as hero in a recent film 'Nirmala Convent'. Now it is said that Medha who is seventeen years old also is interested in an acting career.
According to Tollywood media Sivaranjani is on the lookout for a top director to launch her daughter Medha who is a trained Bharathanatyam dancer and national level basketballer. She has also acted in Anushka Shetty's 'Rudhramadevi' as a child actress.
