Shruti Haasan the eldest daughter of Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan has inherited his multi-talents and balances her acting and music careers skillfully. She was recently seen in Vijay Sethupathi's 'Laabam' in which she played a quirky internet celebrity.

Shruti is currently in Mumbai shooting for the fourth schedule of the pan Indian film 'Salaar' starring Prabhas in the lead. A video has gone viral in which she playfully annoys the director Prashanth Neel when he is engrossed in the shoot. She has stated "Annoying One of My Fav Directors is one of my Favourite Things to Do".

'Salaar' is produced by 'KGF' fame Hombale Films and has music by Ravi Basrur and cinematography by Buvan Gowda. Jagapathy Babu plays a powerful role in the action thriller which is set to release on April 14th 2022 in five Indian languages.
