Actress Shriya is in London shooting for her new movie 'Sandakari' directed by Madesh in which she is paired opposite Vemal. It has been reported that the evergreen beauty was held at gunpoint by the London police as she had trespassed into a high-security residential area near an airport where the shoot was going on. Vemal and the other film crew members had then rushed to the rescue of Shriya and had produced the necessary film shooting permission documents and then she was let go.

'Sandakari' is the remake of the Malayalam movie 'My Boss' which in turn was inspired by the Hollywood super hit 'The Proposal' starring Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds. The film is a sort of comeback for all those concerned including Shriya, Vemal and Madesh and is expected to hit the screens in early 2020.
