Actresses Losliya Mariyanesan and Shivani Narayanan both gained fame after participating in 'Bigg Boss Tamil 3' and 'Bigg Boss Tamil 6' hosted by Kamal Haasan. A Chennai based advocate has posted a video on Instagram warning that the young actresses and other social media influencers are in danger of going to jail due to promoting on line gambling on their pages.

It is reported on a day to day basis that people, especially youngsters are losing lakhs of money due to online gambling across India. Some even go to the extent of committing suicide due to the frustration of losing money. The Tamil Nadu government recently passed a bill in the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly banning online gambling games.

The advocate has stated that the Act spells out that those who play online gambling games will face a fine of Rs 500 and 3 months in jail, and the owner of the company that provides the online games will face 3 years in jail and a fine of Rs 10 lakh.

In this situation, some actresses including Losliya and Shivani Narayanan are posting videos on their social media pages to promote online gambling. This has created a lot of controversy on the net and has prompted the advocate to post his warning video. It remains to be seen if Shivani and Losliya will refrain from it or not.
