Actress Sherin Shringar made her debut in 'Thulluvatho Ilamai' (2002) which also marked the debuts of director Selvaraghavan and top hero Dhanush. Though she became a busy actress after that with many films including 'Whistle' she went missing for a few years.

It was in 2019 that she came back into the limelight as a contestant in 'Bigg Boss 3' hosted by Kamal Haasan. She earned a sizeable fan following and became the 3rd runner up in the reality show. Sherin is currently one of the celebrity contestants in the 'Cook with Comali Season 4' in which she is attracting viewers with her humour sense.

Sherin has posted a video on Instagram stories in which she has stated "Recently, when a fan asked me when I would get married, I jokingly said that I would get married in a month. I didn't expect it to become such a big news story. The person who is now laughing is only me and I would like to clarify to all that I am not getting married in a month."
