The Chennai police are said to be in plans to summon a city doctor who allegedly conducted multiple abortions on an actress. A few days earlier actress Shantini Deva lodged a complaint at the Chennai police commissioner's office that ex ADMK MLA Manikandan had an affair with her for the past five years. She made the shocking allegations and the legislator is now not only refusing to marry her but also blackmailed her with her intimate pictures and videos shot without her knowledge and threatened to employ assassins to kill her if she made the issue public.

Manikandan whose whereabouts are unknown issued a statement that he does not know Shantini and that it's an attempt to extort money from him. His wife also leveled allegations that Shanitini is out to disrupt her family life and action should be taken against her. The actress has however maintained that she has enough evidence of the affair and needs protection.

Meanwhile, audio of Shantini speaking the doctor who allegedly conducted multiple abortions on her during her living together with Manikandan is doing the rounds on the internet. Reports from police circles say that there is a plan to summon the said doctor and interrogate him as well.

Shantini Deva who debuted in a key role in the super hit movie 'Nadodigal' directed by Samuthirakani and starring Sasikumar is currently playing an important character in the upcoming movie 'PUBG' directed by Vijay Sri G costarring Aishwarya Dutta and Julie.
