Supreme court raises questions about actress sexual abuse case

In February 2017 a prominent South Indian actress who was returning from a shoot in Kerala was abducted and subject to the horror of molestation with the abductors' videotaping their horrible deed. The case has seen several twists and turns as the accused Pulsar Suni was first arrested and based on statements and evidences Kerala Superstar Dileep was arrested and spent did 80 days jail time before getting bail.

Dileep had filed a petition in the Supreme Court seeking a copy of the memory card which holds the video of the victim being harassed. The highest court has asked the Kerala government to clearly state whether the memory card is evidence in the case or is a document with regards to the case. The government has undertaken to reply before the apex court on Friday.
