Popular actress Sanjjanaa Galrani was arrested by the Central Crime Branch officers at her Bengaluru residence in connection with alleged drug possession and dealing. She has been lodged at the Parapana Agrahara jail for the past three months and twice her bail applications have been rejected.

The Karnataka Court has today granted bail to Sanjjanaa Galrani on medical grounds and have asked her to deposit a bail amount for rupees three lakhs and two sureties as well. She is required to sign at a police station every week and also ordered to render full cooperation with the case. Another actress Ragini Dwivedi who was also arrested in the same case has not been given bail.

Sanjjanaa Galrani the sister of Nikki Galrani has acted in a Tamil movie 'Oru Kadhal Seiveer' in 2006 and is also playing the heroine in a new movie that has Vijay TV Ramar as the hero.
