In yet another shocking turn of events actress Sanjjana Galrani the sister of popular actress Nikki Galrani has reportedly been arrested by the Central Crime Branch at her residence in Bengaluru in connection with the sensational drug abuse scandal that has rocked the Kannada film industry.

According to PTI and police sources a raid was conducted by the CCB at Sanjjana's Indra Nagar residence in Bengaluru and she was taken into custody after that. Sanjjanaa's involvement in the drug scandal was brought to light after two persons in custody Rahul Shetty of Bengaluru and Pruthvi Shetty confessed about their operation.

It is said that Rahul Shetty and Sanjjanaa used to attend drug parties in casinos in the neighboring counties while Pruthvi Shetty and Sanjjanaa also used to organize such parties in the city. Sanjjannaa Galrani who has acted in over 45 Kannada movie is currently acting as Vijay TV fame Ramar's pair in a new movie. She had posted a long video earlier denying any connection with the drugs case.

Earlier actress Ragini Dwivedi was also arrested in a similar manner on Friday and her custody has been extended till the end of the week. These events unfolded after a television actress who supplied drugs was arrested and director Indrajit Lankesh volunteered to revealed the names of actors, music directors and filmmakers involved.
