Sana Khan debuted in the Tamil film 'E' and later played Simbu's heroine in 'Silambattam' and went on to star in several Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi films. Her most recent appearance was in an item number in the Vishal-Raashi Khanna starter 'Ayogya' released in 2019.

Sana Khan who participated in 'Bigg Boss 6 Hindi' hosted by Salman Khan has made an announcement on social media that she is quitting cinema and the entertainment industry. The reason she has given is that she wants to stop living a sinful life and instead serve Allah and humanity.

Sana Khan's post reads "I declare today that from today onwards, I have resolved to say goodbye to my showbiz lifestyle forever and serve humanity and follow the orders of my Creator. All brothers and sisters are requested to pray for me to Allah to accept my repentance and grant me the true ability to live in accordance with my determination of spending my life following the commandments of my Creator and in the service of humanity and grant me perseverance in to. Finally, all brothers and sisters are requested to not consult me with regards to any Showbiz work henceforth.”

Sana Khan was in the news recently after breaking up with her boyfriend choreographer Melvin Louis whom she accused of cheating on her carrying on affairs with many girls. She was said to be in depression after that and has finally found a way to move ahead in her life spiritually according to industry analysts.
