Actress Sana Khan recently made a surprise announcement to her social media followers. The actress took to her social media handle to announce that she got married to Anas Sayed, a religious scholar.

Introducing her husband, the actress wrote, "Loved each other for the sake of Allah. Married each other for the sake of Allah. May Allah keep us united in this duniya and reunite us in jannah... Which of the favours of your lord will you deny."

The actress is said to have got married on Friday, in an intimate ceremony attended by family and close friends.

It was in October, Sana Khan had announced her exit from the film industry.

In Malayalam, she played the lead role in ‘Climax’ which was based on the life of actress Silk Smitha. In Tamil, Sana has acted in several hits that includes ‘Silambattam’, 'Thambikku Intha Ooru', 'Payanam', etc.
