Actress Samantha, who has been undergoing treatment for myositis for the past few months had fans worried due to her weight loss. Rumours started spreading that she has opted out of many films and advertisements. However she proved them all wrong by getting back to work on the new web series 'The Citadel' directed by Raj and DK of 'The Famil Man fame.

Meanwhile the strong willed Sam has gotten back to intense physical training and shared the inspiring stuff on Insta. She wrote alongside the clip "It ain’t over till the fat lady sings 💪🏼 Thank you for the inspiration @whoisgravity 🤗 You’ve gotten me through some tough days 🤍"

About her recovery regime the Pallavaram girl added "Being on the strictest possible diet (The autoimmune diet.. yes there is such a thing) has taught me that strength is not what you eat.. it’s how you think"

Samantha's next biggie 'Shakuntalam' directed by Gunasekhar is releasing worldwide on February 17 in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi. The film also stars Dev Mohan, Prakashraj, Madhubala, Gauthami, and Adithi Balan.
