Shocking reports have emerged that top South Indian actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu along with young hero Vijay Devarakonda sustained injuries while performing a dangerous stunt scene in their upcoming movie 'Kushi'.

Samantha and Vijay Devarakonda are starring in a new romantic comedy 'Kushi', the first schedule of which was held in Kashmir for twenty days. The team wrapped up the schedule successfully and returned to Hyderabad on Monday. However the news of the accident emerged in several Tollywood and Bollywood media.

It is said that in a particular accident scene the duo were driving a car over a rope tied to both sides of the famous Lidder river in the valley. Unfortunately the vehicle lost control and fell into the water. The reports suggested that both Samantha and Vijay Devarakonda suffered injuries to their back and spine and were rushed to a hospital for treatment where they underwent physiotherapy after first aid.

The maker of 'Kushi' have clarified that all is fine with their entire cast and crew and they are all looking forward to the next schedule. The clarification has brought relief to both Sam and VD fans who are expressing the same on social media.

'Kushi' is directed by Shiva Nirvana and produced by Mythri Movie Makers with Hesham Abdul Wahab scoring the music. The film is expected to release on December 23 this year in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages.
