Samantha Ruth Prabhu one of the most sought after actresses in South Indian cinema also made waves on her Bollywood debut in 'The Family Man 2'. Just as she was on her way to become a pan Indian superstar she was stricken by myositis and is battling the auto immune disease for the past few years.

Samantha, who has taken a break from films, is trying to get a foothold again. A few days ago she went to Bhutan and took Ayurvedic treatment. Samantha has not only made a name for herself as an actress but also as a philonthropist running the non profit trust called Pratyusha that helps children suffering from various diseases.

Many women and children have been supported by Pratyusha who are lauding Sam for the initiative. There are reports in the media that Samantha is planning to adopt two children and raise them as her own. The same sources say that after Samantha and Naga Chaitanya separated after a decade of courtship and four years of marriage her folks advised her to get married again. It is said that Samantha did not agree to that and has expressed that she has no such plans in the near future as well.

On the professional front Samantha's recent movie 'Kushi' costarring Vijay Deverakonda was well recieved by critics and fans alike. She will next be seen in an out and out action avatar in 'Citadel' web series directed by Raj and DK in which Varun Dhawan is playing the male lead. She is also the main lead in the English film 'Arrangements of Love'.
