She is currently shooting for the Amazon Prime Video web series 'Citadel' directed by Raj and DK. News has emerged that the pretty actress has received huge remuneration for her role that has shocked the industry pundits and fans alike.

Bollywood diva Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden starred in the Hollywood web series 'Citadel'. The Indian version has Samantha and Varun Dhawan and is currently being shot. This is the second time that Sam is working with the director duo Raj and DK after the superhit series 'The Family Man'.

Reports say that Samantha has received a salary of Rs 10 crores for acting in 'Citadel'. It come as a big surprise to the trade as the 36 year old stunner from Chennai usually gets around Rs. 4 to 5 crores per film. Here is one more reason that young actresses out there can take inspiration from Sam with regards to equality of pay to both genders.

A few reports claim that Samantha was offerred the big bucks due to the fact that 'Citadel' has its share of intimate bedroom scenes, lip locks and risky action scenes. Of course fans are not buying that as she deserves more than that just to put in her cute performances.
