Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu post her split with her husband Naga Chaitanya announced in early October has made Hyderabad her home. We have already seen that she has been travelling across India and abroad on short much needed holidays and is back.

Sam made a dashing visit to Chennai to her home in Pallavaram where her parents live and apparently like the rest of us was caught in the torrential rains on Thursday. She posted a couple of pics on Instagram with one a shot of the flooded neighbourhood and another of her pet dogs Hash and Saasha back home in Hyderabad.

The pretty actress wrote on the pic of obviously sad Hash and Saasha "I leave for one day... My poor firstborn". Hash sure looks more furlorn than his younger sis but one thing is sure they are not going to let their mom stay in Chennai any longer.

Samantha's new movie 'Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal' directed by Vignesh Shivan and costarring Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara is nearing completion. In a few week's time she will move on to the Tamil/Telugu bilingual movie directed by debutante Shantaruban Gnanasekharan. She has another female centric bilingual that will go on floors roughly at the same time.
