Samantha was air jetting all over India and abroad acting in several projects in Tamil and Telugu and the positive in the coronavirus lockdown is that she and her busy actor husband Naga Chaitanya have got some quality time to spend with each other. The ever pretty Sam for several years has maintained that outside acting she had no hobby except acting and her social service activities.

Now Samantha has revealed that she has taken to gardening and is loving it by posting a photo of herself with her produce. She has captioned the pic "I finally found something I am passionate about that is not part of my job .. I was starting to get tired of answering people when they asked me ‘What is your hobby?' ...Me -'Acting’ ... Them - 'But that’s your job. What is your hobby ?’.... Me - my butterhead lettuce is better than yours... Thank you guys"

Samantha's next project in Tamil is 'Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal' directed by Vignesh Shivan and costarring Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara which is expected to go on floors in August. She is also starring in the Hindi web series 'Family Man 2' and the trilingual thriller film directed by Ashwin Saravanan costarring Prashanth.
