Samantha has bounced back strongly after her joint decision with her husband to end their marriage which was officially announced by them in the beginning of October. She has been on a couple of vacations in India and abroad and has returned home fresh.

Sam spent her Diwali with her close friends Upasana Konidela and Shilpa Reddy and their families and the photos went viral on the internet. Her latest post has adorable pics once again with her close friend and Padmashree Awardee Dr. Manjula Anagani.

Sam wrote "Happy birthday @drmanjulaanaganiofficial.. I consider myself lucky to have a friend like you .. They say hard times reveal true friends …. No truer friend than you doc .. I hope you know how much you’re loved today happy birthday !".

Samantha is back to work and has signed a number of films with her 'Kaathu Vaakula Rendhu Kadhal' with Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara nearing completion. She will shoot simultaneously for two Telugu/ Tamil bilinguals in the next couple of months.
