Actress Samantha's most recent appearance on screen was in the sensational 'Oo Antava' song in the Allu Arjun-Rashmika Mandanna starrer 'Pushpa' which became a major highlight of the film's success. Career wise she has widened her horizons from Tamil/Telugu movies to Hindi and English.

Sam was married to actor Naga Chaitanya from 2017 but the couple decided to end their marriage in 2021 and announced the same on social media. Fans who were hoping for a reconciliation between them were disappointed after reports came that the actress returned the wedding saree to her in laws and she also deleted all social media posts of her ex husband.

Samantha's next release in Tamil is 'Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal' directed by Vignesh Shivan releasing worldwide on April 28th. Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara are her costars in the film. She also has 'Yashoda', Shaakuntalam', 'Citadel' and 'Arrangements of Love' in her kitty.
