In recent years Samantha, one of the top female stars in South Indian cinema has chosen out and out commercial films such as 'Mersal' and experimental ones like 'Super Deluxe' and 'Hello Baby' which have earned her high praise from critics and fans. Her latest outing is as the grey shaded Rajji a militant in 'The Family Man 2' that has been hailed as her career-best.

However, Samantha is also on the receiving end of flak for accepting the role as a section of politicians and social media users have slammed her for accepting a role in 'The Family Man 2' that according to them is against Tamil sentiments.

Veteran actor-director Manobala in an exclusive interview with us has spoken about the issue stating that Samantha should apologize unconditionally for taking up the role. He has added that the filmmakers of 'The Family Man 2' have cheated the actress by narrating the character as a revolutionary one while it turned out to be a planned degradation of the Tamil Ealam war.

Manobala slammed Raj and DK the directors of 'The Family Man 2' that to write about the LTTE one should be qualified and Samantha should have thought hard before agreeing to their inauthentic film. He emphasized that even if the actress apologizes the filmmakers should take full responsibility until which the agitation against the web series will continue. You can watch the video below for more on the issue by Manobala.
