Sai Pallavi first caught the attention of audiences as dancer in the reality show 'Ungalil Yaar Adutha Prabhu Deva on Vijay TV in 2008, and was a finalist in Dhee Ultimate Dance Show (D4) on ETV in 2009. She went on to complete her medical course in 2016 when she suddenly got an opportunity to act in the Malayalam film 'Premam'.

'Premam' became a blockbuster all over South Indian and Sai Pallavi who acted as a Tamil girl Malar teacher became the hearthrob of the youth. The actress became super busy especially in Telugu cinema where she is one of the most sought after right now. She has delivered pathbreaking performances in films such as 'Paava Kathaigal', 'Virata Parvam' and 'Gargi'.

It is reported that Sai Pallavi is currently building a big hospital on several acres in Coimbatore and is planning to cut down on acting assignments to concentrate in the medical field.. The reports add that her aim is to be useful to the general public and that her education should not go waste. It is almost suggested that she might quit acting altogether.

However there has been no official statement regarding this and Sai Pallavi has not divulged of sush plans in any of her recent interviews. Hence this buzz may turn out to be mere speculation. The pretty actress will next be seen in Tamil as Sivakarthikeyan's pair in 'SK 21' directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy and produced by Kamal Haasan.
