She has announced her candidacy for the Chevella Parliamentary Constituency seat in the Rangareddy District as an independent candidate. Sahiti formally filed her nomination on Wednesday, submitting the necessary documents to the Returning Officer and District Collector, Shashanka.

The Chevella constituency will witness a competitive race with candidates from major parties, including Konda Vishweshwar Reddy from BJP, Ranjith Reddy from Congress, and Kasani Gnaneshwar from BRS.
