Actress S. Gayathrie has gained fame with the Tamil audiences for her girl next door looks and impeccable acting skills. She recently played the female lead opposite Fahadh Faasil in Kamal Haasan's blockbuster hit film 'Vikram' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.
Gayathrie who debuted in the psychological thriller '18 Vayasu' had her first hit along with Vijay Sethupathi in 'Naduvula Konjam Pakatha Kanom' and followed it with 'Rummy', 'Puriyadha Puthir', 'Oththa Seruppu', 'Oru Nalla Naal Paathu Sollanum' and 'Super Deluxe'. Especially her role as the mother of two children in Seenu Ramasamy's 'Mamaanithan' also starring Vijay Sethupathi has won her critical praise at national and International Film Festivals.
Gayathrie has shared a video of her rock climbing attempt on social media and has captioned it "You can't see it but my hands were sweating and shivering when I reached the top! And I was terrified of having to take my left foot off to grab the last 'rock'.

Gayathrie's next release in Tamil is going to be Seenu Ramasamy's 'Idi Muzhakkam' costarring G.V. Prakash Kumar. She is also the female lead in the Malayalam film 'Corona Papers' that won praise on release on Disney Plus Hotstar.
