The daily serial 'Bharathi Kannamma', which is airing on Vijay TV, has become a favorite of housewives who enjoy the mostly logic defying twists and turns. The core theme of the soap is that Bharathi falls in love with Kannamma and marries her. Venbaa separates the two by playing mind games on their lives. The abandoned Kannamma gives birth to twins one of whom is with her but the other unknowing to her is being raised by her mother-in-law Soundarya.

Earlier Akhil who playes the role of Akhilan in 'Bharathi Kannamma' also quit the serial due to him bagging a role in a new movie. Farina, who plays Venba the main villain ,is fully pregnant and is looking forward to her delivery. She will also be not available for the next year.
