Bharathi Kannamma is a 2019 Tamil-language soap opera starring Arun Prasad, Roshini Haripriyan, Sweety (Kanmani Manoharan) and Akilan and directed by Praveen Bennett. The series premiered 25 February 2019 on Vijay TV. Arun Prasad made his Tamil-language debut with this series. The show is the Tamil language remake of Malayalam television series, Karuthamuthu which is being aired on Asianet. Bharathi, a doctor, falls for Kannamma, a dark-skinned but intelligent woman.
