Actress Roja who reigned the roost as one of the most sought after leading ladies in South Indian cinema made a successful transition to politics and is serving the second term as the MLA of the Nagari constituency in Andhra Pradesh.
Roja is a very proactive politician who believes in getting on to the field and setting an example to her followers in serving the people. We already saw her wearing protective gear and spraying sanitizers in a village.
On the occasion of the birthday of AP Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, Roja has adopted an orphan girl named Pushpakumari who lived in an orphanage. Pushpakumar has procured high marks in the recent NEET examination and Roja has undertaken all her educational expenses.
Roja is married to veteran Tamil film director and FEFSI Chief R.K. Selvamani and has two children Anshumalika Selvamani and Krishna Lohith Selvamani.
