Actress Roja made her acting debut in the year 1992 in ‘Chembaruthi’ starring Prashanth and directed by R.K. Selvamani. She attained instant stardom and ruled the South Indian film industry for the next decade or so acting opposite all the major stars of the era including Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi, Ravichandran, Suresh Gopi, Vijayakanth, Sathyaraj, Prabhu and Karthik.
Roja and Selvamani fell in love during the making of their first movie itself and dated for several years before tying the knot on August 10th, 2002. The couple have a daughter Anshumalika and son Krishna Lohith.
