Actress Roja officially quits film industry after going to the next level in politics

Actress Roja debuted as an actress in the Tamil film 'Chembaruthi' starring Prashanth and directed by R.K.Selvamani that released in 1992. She hit instant stardom and went on to pair up with all the South superstars such as Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Chiranjeevi, Mohan Lal, Mammootty, Vijayakanth, Prabhu,Sathyaraj and others.
Roja made a smooth transition from films to politics and joining the YSR Congress party she is currently serving her second term as MLA of Nagari. In the last assembly elections held in Andhra Pradesh in 2019, her party won and Jaganmohan Reddy became the chief minister.
Two and a half years later, the cabinet is being reshuffled. Roja, who has won the trust of not only her constituency but the AP people in general has now been elevated to the position of a minister along with fourteen others.
Roja was sworn in by Governor Biswabhushan Harichandan her constituency people in Nagari burst fire crackers and celebrated the good news. Film personalities from all South Indian states are congratulating the actress turned politician on social media.
Roja has announced that she is quitting the Jabardust show that she has been participating as a judge on TV as well as cinema to concentrate on serving the people.
