Actress Roja has been performing admirably as a politician serving her constituency Nagari for the second consecutive term. In 2020 she adopted a class ten girl P. Pushpakumari hailing from Tirupati who lost both her parents to the deadly coronavirus.
Now Pushpakumari has scored high marks in her twelfth and has also cracked the NEET exams and has enrolled at the Tirupati Padmavati Women’s College to study medicine. Roja who is now the Andhra Pradesh Tourism and Youth Welfare Development Minister has undertaken to pay from her own pocket the entire expenses for the full term of the college fees.
Roja, her husband RK Selvamani and children Anshumalika and Krishna Lohith honored Pushpa by presenting her with a shawl. The young girl stated that her ambition is to provide free medical treatment to the poor in the future citing that no parents of any girl should lose their lives like hers for want of medical facilities. Netizens are lauding Roja for turning into a real mother and helping the girl achieve her dreams as promised by her two years back.
