Superstar Rajinikanth’s co-star injured in sets while ‘Thalaivar 170’ shooting – Viral video

We all know that the shooting for Superstar Rajinikanth’s ‘Thalaivar 170’ is going on in Chennai. Young actress Ritika Singh is part of the film’s star cast and she is sharing screen space with Thalaivar for the first time. Ritika is well-known for her performances in ‘Irudhi Suttru’, ‘Aandavan Kattalai’ and ‘Oh My Kadavulae’.

The latest is that Ritika was injured yesterday in the sets while shooting for ‘Thalaivar 170’. She took to her Instagram stories and posted a picture with the caption, “Looks like I got into a fight with a werewolf!” in which her right hand was full of deep wounds. She later shared a video, detailing what happened during the shooting.

Ritika said, “I am quite upset. Because they kept telling me, be careful, there’s glass there. They warned me but, it’s okay, it happens. You can’t control momentum sometimes, right? I think I lost control and then this happened. I’m going from the set to the hospital to get a shot. I hope this gets better soon and I can shoot tomorrow.” It is now going viral on social media.

Thalaivar 170 directed by TJ Gnanavel stars Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, Fahad Faasil, and others. Superstar is expected to play the role of a retired cop in this film while Ritika plays another cop. Anirudh is composing the music with DOP by SR Kathir and editing by Philomin Raj. The movie is produced by Subaskaran under Lyca Productions.
