Tamil journos back then fondly dubbed her as Kolkatta Rasagulla and she was expected to zoom to the top, but she gave it all up to pursue her MBA in the prestigious Washington University in the USA.
Richa in her university met fellow student Joe Langella and fell in love with him and after several years of dating married him on December 17th 2019. The couple live in Portland, Oregon, California
Earlier this year Richa shared the news of her pregnancy on social media writing "We've been keeping a LITTLE secret Joe and I are so excited to finally share with everyone...BABY LANGELLA COMING THIS JUNE! Our hearts are so full of happiness and gratitude.. We can't wait to meet our little bundle of joy!".
Richa has now opened up on the birth of her son in an Instagram post also sharing adorable photos and writing "Our little bundle of joy, Luca Shaan Langella, made his perfect entrance into the world on May 27th, 2021,". She added that she and her husband are doing great and are so madly in love with their sweet little bean burrito.
Richa penned that she can't get enough of his little gurgles, cuddles and animated facial expressions. "He is a happy, healthy boy and looks just like his dad, but with mom's nose and hair. Luca bear, you've filled our lives with indescribable joy (and sleepless nights for now)," the happy mother further wrote.
She thanked her husband for being a constant support. "I could not have had as calm and pleasant an experience without Joe Langella, who is the best daddy already and gave me so much strength and encouragement through my pregnancy and is continuing to love and pamper me to no end," Richa wrote with oodles of joy.
