Actress Richa Gangopadhyay played the heroine in only two Tamil movies 'Mayakkan Enna' opposite Dhanush and 'Osthe' opposite Simbu but she remains one of the favorites of Tamil cinema lovers due to her stunning beauty and talent. The Miss India USA winner in 2007 after starring alongside big heroes in Telugu films moved back to the states to concentrate on her MBA studies.
Richa in her university met fellow student Joe Langella and fell in love with him and after several years of dating married him on December 17th 2019. The couple live in Portland, Oregon, California which has been ravaged by the wildfires that have destroyed thousands of acres of land, buildings, flora and fauna.
Richa in a serious of tweets has written "35 wildfires in Oregon and over 300,000 acres of land wiped out. Our skies are smoke-filled and towns substantially destroyed. This could be the greatest loss of human lives and property due to wildfire in OR's history. Luckily Portland is safe for now. Wind gusts of over 60mph from the wildfires knocked down a tree in our backyard and air quality in Portland (where I live) is worse than Beijing, Mumbai or Mexico City due to wildfire smoke. Hasn't rained in over 30 days."
Richa has further shared that she is indoors and cannot move out due to the air quality and is using the Indian pooja camphors to better the quality of air in her house and is also requesting social media users to suggest other ideas on the subject.
Richa also shared a photo of her wearing an air pollution mask which is much different from the COVID 19 mask and heavy with three air vents that looks like an alien space movie property. She has captioned it "Guess I have to wear a different kind of mask now...it's so smoky outside I had to whip out my respirator I use for my painting projects!
Well fans of Richa are praying that she stays safe and overcomes this natural disaster that is shaking California simultaneously with the COVID 19 pandemic shich is also the highest in the US.
Guys the air here is REALLY bad. The smoke has seeped into our homes and air purifiers are sold out everywhere. We are in our house coughing, with the air off, fighting headaches caused by the smoke.
