Rhea Chakraborty arrested in Sushant Singh Rajput death case

Actress Rhea Chakraborty has reportedly been arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau officials after three days of grilling her on her alleged connection with the death of her boyfriend Sushant Singh Rajput. From the Mumbai office of the NCB, the 28-year-old actress will be taken for a medical test and then remanded to custody.

It is said that the officials will produce Rhea in court along with her brother Showik Chakraborty and Sushant's house manager Samuel Miranda and ask for further custody to interrogate the team's connections with drug cartels.

Earlier Rhea had filed an FIR against Sushant's doctor sister of having advised the actor of drugs without any consultation and gave bogus prescriptions for him to access drugs that were barred by medical council. Her lawyer had stated “Rhea Chakraborty has set the Criminal Law in motion by filing her complaint with Bandra Pstn. The Cocktail of Illegally Administered Medicines and Drugs may have lead to SSRs suicide on 14th June 2020. His sisters need to be answerable to the investigators and God.

Sushant Singh Rajput a successful young Bollywood actor died by apparent suicide on June 14th after his body was found hanging in his room. Ever since that there have been multiple conspiracy theories surrounding his death with his family accusing girlfriend Rhea of financial mismanagement of the actor's wealth and also administring reactive drugs on him.

Sushant Singh's sister Shwetha Singh has tweeted God is with us as soon as the news of Rhea's arrest was reported.
