Actress Remya Suresh files complaint on her morphed video that is circulating on internet

Technology has grown in leaps and bounds in the past couple of decades and while it is helpful to society in many ways perverts also use it to spoil the lives of others.  Their targets are mainly lesser-known actresses and celebrities and yet another case has been filed with the cybercrime police.

Actress Remya Suresh is famous for her role in the recently released Malayalam film ‘Nizhal’ that had Nayanthara and Kunchako Boban as the lead pair.  She posted a video on her Facebook page in a distraught state and stated that an adult video is doing the rounds on the internet in which her face has been morphed onto another actress.

Remya has said according to Malayalam media “I have nothing to do with the video that is spreading on the internet. Legal action has been taken regarding the same. Please don’t spread it. To my surprise, her facial features are similar to mine. People who know me personally will know the difference if they look closely. But, others won’t be able to see that difference and I fear for it. “

The thirty-five-year-old actress has added “My husband stands by me, which gives me courage. The police officers were supportive and promised to do everything to help me. They have gathered information about the person who circulated the video. When I returned home from the police station, I was confident. But now, I have been getting so many messages on my Facebook page. What will I tell my friends when they call me after watching the video? I have reached this stage only because I did not make any compromises. Please don’t think of me like that and message me,”
