Rashmika Mandanna one of the leading actresses in Tollywood has so far enthralled Tamil audiences in Karthi's 'Sulthan' and Thalapathy Vijay's 'Varisu'. Her third Kollywood film is produced by Dream Warrior Pictures which was officially launched in Hyderabad today.
The Tamil/Telugu bilingual has been titled 'Rainbow' and marks the directorial debut of Shantharuban with Justin Prabhakaran scoring the music and K.M. Bhaskaran wielding the camera. Malayalam hero Dev Mohan who is playing the male lead in Samantha's 'Shaakuntalam' has been roped in.
The shooting of 'Rainbow' will commence soon and will be wrapped up before Diwali according to sources. Rashmika is excited to headline the cast for the first time in her career and has promised that the film will be a breezy fantasy romance.
Rashmika is currently shooting for 'Pushpa 2' starring Allu Arjun and directed by Sukumar apart from her Bollywood biggie 'Animal' in which she is paired opposte Ranbhir Kapoor. Rashmika will be reuniting with her 'Bheeshma' hero Nithin and director Venky Kudumala for an untitled romantic film that has music by G.V. Prakash Kumar.
