Police arrests Tamil actress for assaulting students in public - Sensational incident

In a sensational incident yesterday, a well-known actress and politician stopped a government bus in Chennai and assaulted the students who were hanging from the steps. A video of this surfaced over the internet and went viral. Now, the actress has been arrested by the police officers.
In the video, the students were seen hanging from the steps of a running government bus. Ranjana Nachiyaar came in her car, disrupted the bus and went on to abuse and assault the students who were hanging. She also abused the driver and conductor of the bus. Ranjana is an actress, lawyer, TN BJP member and a close relative of director Bala.
When the video went viral, many people condemned Ranjana's approach as wrong though her intention is good. There were people supporting her too. However, the cops arrested her today for stopping public transport, abusing and assaulting minors in public and abusing the driver and conductor.
Ranjana was arrested and taken to the Mangadu police station. During her arrest, she reportedly refused to go with the cops and argued that she would come to the station in her car. However, the officials have taken her into custody. This news is now doing rounds on social media. The images of her arrest have surfaced over the internet.
