Actress Ramya Pandian impressed on debut playing the tragic poverty-ridden rural belle in 'Joker' directed by Raju Murugan and followed it up with another decent performance in a negative shaded role in 'Aan Devathai'.

She won a huge fan following after posting her stunning pics in traditional and modern outfits on social media which went viral and was signed on for the reality shows 'Kalakapovadhu Yaaru' as a judge and 'Cooku With Comali' as a contestant.

There has been no looking back for Ramya since then as she then featured as a contestant in 'Bigg Boss 4' hosted by Kamal Haasan where she stayed strong till the 105th day before getting evicted last.

After 'Bigg Boss 4', Ramya Pandian has started shooting for a new female-oriented film produced by Suriya under the banner 2D Entertainment and directed by Arisilmoorthy. The film also has Vani Bhojan playing an important role while Krish is scoring the music.

Popular YouTube movie reviewer Kodangi A Vadivelu known for his highly humorous style is acting in a pivotal role in the untitled Ramya Pandian-Suriya project. He is also said to have contributed in the script and dialogue side as well.
